Nice restaurant on the north side

We are going to Austin for a basketball tournament this week-end and since my husband and I did not get a chance to go out on Valentine%26#39;s Day we are looking for a nice place for dinner on Friday night. We will be bringing our 16 yr old daughter and her boyfriend with us . Any suggestions?

Do you know how far north you%26#39;ll be? Is downtown an option for you? Also, what type of food do you like?

One place that I like to visit mostly because I like the interior decor is Chez Zee. http://www.chez-zee.com/

Romeo%26#39;s is also a popular choice for Italian in a kitchy, laid-back atmosphere. www.austinromeos.com

I%26#39;d add more, but I gotta run at the moment. I%26#39;m sure others can chime in.

Eddie V%26#39;s is supposed to be wonderful. It%26#39;s downtown, and probably requires reservations. A couple friends of mine who live there raves about it. Not exactly fancy is the orginal Chuy%26#39;s on Barton Springs. Great Tex-Mex, kinda loud, velvet-Elvis motif. One of our fav%26#39;s.
