We are planning a trip to San Antonio/Austin this christmas. We have children 25 and 21 years old and would like some suggestions for what to do, see and where to stay in downtown San Antonio. We have already decided to see the Alamo but are up for any other suggestions.
San Antonio Trip
Definitely go to the Riverwalk, especially since your kids are over 21. I admittedly haven%26#39;t been to SA in a while but there are some old Spanish missions (besides the Alamo) worth visiting. You can also drive up I-35 and check out the outlet malls in San Marcos. If you (and your kids) like to shop, you can go crazy there. Trust me... they%26#39;re worth it.

If you are at all into art, visit the Mcnay (www.mcnayart.org). It is a small museum but has a wonderful collection of 19th and 20th century American art.
