Hi All
Wasnt sure where to post this so i%26#39;ve put it in San Antonio
I%26#39;m driving into the hill country late this month. From all the towns i%26#39;m trying to figure out which town(s) would be best suited to my tastes. I%26#39;m planning to go for something like 2 or 3 nights
I%26#39;m on my own, i%26#39;m very much into partying and meeting new people drinking and having a good time, i%26#39;m into sports and such so tubing, kayaking and such would be good from what i have read about.
Cowboys and horseriding isnt really my thing - so i want to skip all that. Same with winetasting
I read that Kerrville was good for the watersports - but it was %26#39;not the most jumping of towns%26#39;
I also read Bandera was good for partying but not so good for sports.
I%26#39;m not even sure it will be %26#39;in season%26#39; for the watersports and such though...
So bearing in mind all this - where should i aim to go? and ideally where would you all recommend to stay overnight?
Thanks again guys
Andy

Aha! Stay in Austin. Sixth Street, Town Lake will be right up your alley.
New Braunfels would be good for tubing.

andy- if you are still coming before the end of March, the water is going to be a bit nippy for any ';in the water'; watersports such as tubing and swimming. However, as Owl mentioned, Town Lake has kayaks and other boats to rent.
Andy - go for Austin - it is the best for someone your age who loves partying and outdoor adventures. You won%26#39;t be sorry. 6th street is more university kids and the warehouse district is a bit more refined nightlife.
Thanks guys - my rough itinary did include Austin =
