family dinning options in Galveston

Our Wisconsin family%26#39;s first trip to Galveston, (texas for that matter)

I am a stay at home, home school, daycare providing mom, who cooks 2-3 meals a day and snack....so I want to eat out on my vacation to Galveston, but are there reasonably priced places with really good food choices for ages 4-39?

Also, we usually like to do one unique thing on our vacation.

Last year we went on a Pirate cruise...any suggestions for Galveston?

Galveson has reasonably price restaurants, I think. One family-oriented restaurnat on the seawall is a chain, Joe%26#39;s Crab Shack. Decent food and a play area for the kids, with indoor and outdoor eating.

I can%26#39;t think of anything unique or outstanding of Galveston, but you might want to look at galveston.com for something.

Had a friend who took a Galveston haunted tour and said it was fun. The majority of Galveston%26#39;s restaurants are reasonably priced. It is not a city that caters only to the rich as many beach towns do.

We took a spur-of-the-moment boat ride from the dock behind Willy G%26#39;s and were delighted - the boat went all the way out to the ship channel and we saw lots of dolphins.
