We are coming into town next weekend for our dad%26#39;s wedding reception. We are staying in the Trophy Club area. Wondering what is a great place for early 30%26#39;s to go out one night and have a great time while in town? Looking for a great bar or club to go out on the Friday night we fly in. Any suggestions would be great!

My first instinct is to say go down to the Fort Worth Stockyards and go to Billy Bob%26#39;s or the White Elephant or the Longhorn Saloon or Pearls Dance Hal or....wel, youget the idea- lots of music and dancing and hanging out kinds of places.

However, starting out from Trophy Club, you have a lot of options. If you head up to Denton, there are some fun spots such as Dan%26#39;s Silverleaf (www.danssilverleaf.com/) or Hailey%26#39;s(www.haileysclub.com). Southlake Town Center has some fun restaurants and bars- good place to hang out, eat AND shop! Grapevine is another choice- Main Street Blues Room (mainstreetbluesroom.com) or Willhoite%26#39;s (www.willhoites.com) for example.

The Gaylord Resort in Grapevine can be a little pricey but they have a new nightclub, the Glass Cactus (www.glasscactusnightclub.com)

Keller is livelier than it used to be with old favorites such as Up N Smoke BBQ with live bands on Friday Saturday (www.upnsmokebbq.com) or Papa G%26#39;s Sports Bar with a mix of live bands/DJ type stuff (www.nationwide.net/~papag/).

We traveled to Fort Worth 26-28th.

Things about the trip:

Stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn Alliance: I do not recommend this hotel unless there is no where else to stay.

Shopping: Southlake: We loved this area wished we could have gone there daily.

Food:

Ate at a great Italian Restaurant at the Southlake shopping area I%26#39;ll find out the name it was great.

Ate at Gloria%26#39;s not sure where we were but absolutely delicious

Ate at Taco Cabana for a quick drive thu we don%26#39;t have these in Nashville and it was great compared to our Taco Bell!!!

Entertainment:

Billy Bobs at the Stockyard. We loved this place! Nice group of people every age range! Great music good drinks nice bartendars

Thanks for posting some input on the places you went. So glad you went to Billy Bob%26#39;s- it is a such a fun place for all ages and tastes. We always have a great time in the Stockyards.
