For a lake view and food, and sometime entertainment, try the Iguana Grill on 620, closer to 71 than Oasis. Tex-Mex or Mex - Mex food is good, drinks very good, sunset view super. Music in the summer is much better than you would expect especially on the weekend.

Lakeway Inn has a good restaurant with a great lake view. During the summer months Shades is a good bet - you catch the water taxi from the Lakeway Marina to go across the lake - $1 each way. Johnny Fins is on the lake, food is okay if you stick to the basics - burgers. There%26#39;s Carlos and Charlies, and Aunt Tilly%26#39;s, too. All 3 of those are on the south shore.

Beware of the Iguana Grill if you dislike poor service. They%26#39;re notorious.
