If going to the riverwalk/alamo/etc - where is the best place to park? And how much would it cost approx?

There are several options..The parking garages will be the most expensive..10-15 a day..There are several open air lots in the DT area..This will be your best option..There is even 1 for $2 a day,but it is small(and secret)..If you are like my Dad,there is plenty of free spaces,but you have to drive around to find them(and walk)..
