My wife and I will be going through this area in the middle of Feburary. We would like advice on staying in Port Aransas or Corpus Christi. Also advice on local eaterys. Thank you.

You can%26#39;t compare CC and PA. 300.000 inh. vs 3000. A big city vs a beachtown. If you are in a hurry I suggest to stay in CC. You can reach PA from the north only by (free) ferry and it takes quite a long detour to reach it from the south on Mustang Island. But if you want to stay in an old fashioned and nice little town. Go PA. We stayed in a condo in PA so can%26#39;t tell you about other lodging or dining. Sorry.

Stay at Port A. Corpus is too ';big city'; might as well get a room in Huston. Port-A has a lot of charm and gulf views that you can%26#39;t get in Corpus. My two cents worth. ';Are we there yet?';
