Myself and a friend are visiting a 3rd British guy currently working in Austin for a holiday at the beginning of March for a week. Unfortunately he will be working all day so we%26#39;ll have to amuse ourselves during the day time.
I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions of things to do? Suggestions could involve cultural activities, social activities, retail activities, anything fun/interesting really. All suggestions welcome!

Holiday Fun
www.austintexas.org is the Austin Visitor%26#39;s Bureau site and has a lot of info. If the weather is good, try renting a canoe on Town Lake. The Museum list is long and the LBJ Presidential Museum is especially good. The Bullock Museum is another one not to miss. Shopping is interesting on S. Congress and in the 2nd street district.
One night try to get to Esther%26#39;s Follies. Great comedy on 6th.
