Restaurants near Grapevine Mills

We%26#39;ll be staying at the Springhill Marriott at Grapevine for a weekend and were wondering what good restaurants would be closeby or within walking distance? thanks!

Restaurants near Grapevine Mills

There are several basic chain type restaurants within walking distance- you will be right by the Grapevine Mills Mall. Inside is a Rainforest Cafe (kids like it) and a Chili%26#39;s Too (small version of the regular Chili%26#39;s) plus all kinds of food court type places. Outside, in a strip by the mall are Steak N%26#39; Shake (great burgers, fries and shakes), Love and War (OK steaks), and several others- I think maybe a Bennigans. Also, there is an Embassy Suites across the street that has a couple of restaurants.

If you have a car, you should head to downtown Grapevine and checkout some local type places such as WIllhoites (not great food but live bands), South Prarie Oyster Bar, Back Porch, Weinberger%26#39;s Deli.

Hello.

I%26#39;m pretty fimilar with that area and like to eat dinner after shopping all day.

As far as restaurants inside Grapevine Mills, I%26#39;d suggest not doing that.

The Chili%26#39;s too offers a small menu selection and Rainforest Cafe is neat to do once and that%26#39;s it.

The food is okay and the atmosphere is kid oriented and you could wait in line more than an hour.

The strip of restaurants has a decent selection.

TX Love and War is pretty good and they have entertainment on the weekends...call ahead to double check who will be there.

Cozymels has great Carribean style Mexican food, I love it!!

There%26#39;s also a good restaurant attatched to the Bass Pro Shops. It%26#39;s called Big Buck Brewery. I really like the food there, and they had a nice selection.

There is also a bar area upstairs if that is of interest to you.

If you will have a car, I suggest going to the Gaylord Texan. They have several restaurants inside ranging in price and selection.

A restaurant called Amur Lur (sp?) is rated one of the most romantic in the DFW area. I have not been there yet, but plan to soon.

The area is beautiful, you could even take a scenic drive down by the lake and if the weather outside is nice, have a picnic...it%26#39;s so relaxing there.

They also have hiking, biking trails.

Hope this helps.

I do like the downtown area as the other post spoke of...mainly a walking stretch of small shops and restaurants. They also have the wineries in downtown, which is fun to do as well.

hope this helps!! Enjoy your stay.

Thanks poodleone and andream.

I%26#39;m leaning towards the Love and War in Texas restaurant...that might be the best choice for some authentic Texas vittles! I%26#39;m assuming we would be within walking distance?

I%26#39;m a shopper and will have a couple of other shopahoics with me, is there anything in particular we should check out in downtown Grapevine?

thanks for all of your advice....I feel better knowing I have a ';plan'; before I go!
