Huntsville TX, Steamboat House Restaurant
I have read about the Steamboat House restaurant in Houston (designed like Sam Houston%26#39;s former house, like the one on display in Huntsville) but was not aware that one had opened in Huntsville. We ate at the Junction for the first time in 25 years last year while driving through. Good basic food and bar service in a VERY old house- not a bad stop as you zing down I-45.

Don%26#39;t know of a ';Steamboat House'; restaurant in Huntsville. There is a restaurant located near the Steamboat House in the Sam Houston Memorial Museum Park that is called The Homestead. It is reviewed here, and is upscale and excellent.
Wanted to clear up where the Homestead restaurant is located. Just south of the park, not in it as possibly gathered from previous post.
